The pursuit of happiness is a distraction/false goal.
The only worthy pursuit of a human is the realization of its infinite potential (to the extent able, which is not infinite).
The ‘feeling’ of happiness comes and goes along the journey of growth and development. At any particular time, it is normal for any one of a number of ‘feelings’ to be present at that time, and happiness is only one of them.
The true goal is holiness (whole-ness).
