This answer is a cop out. Do you really believe that a good god would allow the atrocities committed in his name if he existed? If there is such a God, he is by definition not good!
– See the original answer. Existence is as it was intended to be and God is the author of all existence. Anyone who expects something other than what is, may have an ‘entitlement’ problem and not a God problem.
